Hi! I am Dr. Katie Foster. How lucky am I to be able to serve all of the wonderful families in Timnath, CO?!
A little about who I am. I was born and raised in Northern Nevada- Reno to be exact. I moved to Thousand Oaks, California, in 2005 where I attended California Lutheran University and graduated with distinction receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in biology. While in college, I also studied the classical violin, was part of my school’s orchestral program and was a competitive swimmer.
I received my dental degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I realized early on my passion for working with and treating children. Following my dental training, I pursued my pediatric residency at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in association with the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. I obtained extensive knowledge regarding clinical pediatric dentistry, dental emergencies as well as the skills to care for special needs and medically compromised patients.
Yes, I am a Pediatric Dentist, but I am first and foremost a wife to my wonderful husband, Josh and a proud mama to our sweet kiddos- Luke(2y) and Ella (8m). When I am not working or chasing a toddler around, I love to cook (not a great baker though), stay active in the gym, try new restaurants and travel.
I am a Board-certified Pediatric Dentist, an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a Diplomate to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
I know that I have the best job in the whole world, and I am excited to serve and love the kids of Northern Colorado through my work.

I knew when I was just 6 years old that I wanted to be a Dentist when I grew up. I looked forward to my cleanings every few months and thought it was just the best go to my appointments. If I had to bet, it was the fun environment that was created at the office. I remember how special I always was made to feel- they knew my name, always asked about things I had mentioned previously and treated me like a friend. I know not every child loves the dentist like I did when I was young. Therefore, it is my passion to help my patients feel safe, loved and comfortable at the dentist.
